E. L. Kent Elementary



Constructed in 1989, this school is named for E. L. Kent, who came to Carrollton in 1948 as the district’s first elementary school principal. Kent was the
principal of the current Carrollton Elementary until his retirement in 1972. His wife, Margaret, worked in the district’s Food Services department for more than 30 years.
