Mr. Michael David Tinney
Aug 8, 1960 - Mar 24, 2011

Michael David Tinney, age 50, died on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his home in Dallas, Texas. Mike was born August 8, 1960, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Mike was the son of Yvonne Reynolds Tinney (deceased 1995) and Harold Dean Tinney, Sr., who is honoring Mike's longstanding wish to be laid to rest next to his Mother. Mike was a kind and loving man who was known for his distinctive grin and hearty laugh. Mike will be greatly missed by his Family and all who loved him. He had a lifelong passion for cars, trucks and all things mechanical. A degreed specialist in automotive and diesel technologies, Mike was in the business of restoring muscle cars, something he excelled at. Mike is survived by his: Sons; David Tinney and Terry Tinney, his Grandchildren; Jacob and Yvonne, his Father; Harold Dean Tinney, Sr., Stepmother; Shirley Tinney, Sister; Susan Yvonne Tinney-McCann, Brothers: Dean Tinney, II and Dwight Tinney, Uncle: Hubert T. Reynolds as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews who also loved him dearly. Mike was preceded in death by his Mother, Yvonne Reynolds Tinney, all of his Grandparents and his youngest Brother, Dwayne Lynn Tinney.
