OBITUARY

W. I. Smith, Retiried Farmer, Dies at Home.
William I. Smith, 61, a native of Dallas County and a retired farmer, died Friday morning at his home,  4700 McKinney avenue.
He was born in Farmers Branch, a few miles north of Dallas on the Denton road, and lived there farmers until ninetoon years ago, when he quit active work and moved to Dallas proper.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nora Smith; three daughters, Mrs. A. A. Holmquest of Amarillo, Mrs. R. H. Browning of Houston and Mrs. H. C. Mason of Dallas; three grandchildren, a brother, Jim Smith of Farmers Branch and three sisters, Mrs. H. M. Ford of Farmers Branch, Mrs. Neil Ogden of Carrollton and Mrs. Oscar Newton of Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held Saturday evening at 5 o'clock at the Farmers Branch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Don Miley of Dallas officiating. Burial will be  in the olf family cemetery near Farmers Branch.
