Miss
Campbell To Become Bride of John Reneau CARROLLTON,
Texas - Mr. and Mrs. Dee C. Campbell have announced the engagement of
their daughter, Miss Carolyn Campbell, to John W. Reneau.
Mr. Reneau is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Reneau of Carrollton.
The wedding will take place July 15 in the home of the bride's parents
with the Rev. Leon Turner officiating.
Miss Juanelle Phillips will be maid of honor. Miss Barbara Slone of
Carrollton will be bridesmaid.
Hugh Pender will be best man, and Reubin Chambers will be groomsman.

OBITUARY

C Reneau
November 1, 1935 - August 17, 2025
Carolyn Campbell Reneau, born on November 1, 1935, was sent to
her eternal home on August 17, 2025, at the age of 89. She was a
beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her vibrant
spirit.
Carolyn was preceded in death by husbands, John Wayne Reneau Sr.
and James Harris Bronaugh, as well as her parents, Nellie Gee
and Dee Campbell. She is survived by her children, John Jr.,
Julie, Amanda and Beth, along with eight cherished grandchildren
and numerous great-grandchildren.
A vibrant soul, Carolyn had a deep passion for gospel and
country music. She found immense joy in dancing and singing,
often with her own unique flair. For over 40 years, she
dedicated her time as a volunteer at Texoma Medical Center,
embodying her commitment to helping others. She cherished her
family time and had a special affinity for animals, especially
dogs and birds.
Carolyn’s zest for life will be dearly missed by all who knew
her. She leaves behind a legacy forever etched in the hearts of
her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, the 22nd, at 11:00
a.m. at Georgetown Cemetery, 539 Cemetery Road, Pottsboro, TX
