Daniel Lee McMillen Jun 23, 1953 - Feb 12, 2026 Daniel Lee McMillen June 23, 1953 - Feburay 12, 2026 Daniel Lee McMillen, 72, of Nevada, Texas, passed away peacfully on Feburay 12, 2026, next to his wife, Janet McMillen. Daniel, was born on June 23, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to J.W. and Mary McMillen. He graduated from R.L. Turner High School in 1971. On May 1978, he married the love of his life, Janet McMillen. Daniel worked for the Plano Fire Department and then as parametic in Plano, Texas. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 12 years in Collin County and received an award for volunteer of the year. Daniel had a passion for helping others in need, working with youth programs, spending time with family, woodworking and hot pepper gardening. Above all, he treasured time spent with his children and grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet; his children, Erin and Catherine, grandchild Allan and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Mary McMillen. A service will be held at 10:00 am and visitation will be from  9:00 am - 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 17th at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Texas.
