OBITUARY
 Corliss Ann Mazzola
February 21, 1950 - February 16, 2026
Carthage, Texas
Corliss
Mazzola, age 75, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Monday, February 16,
2026, in Carthage. Corliss Ann Wright was born on February 21, 1950, in
San Diego, California, to the late Marion Jack and Eileen Mary Louise
Hiatt Wright. She graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrolton,
Texas with the Class of 1968. Corliss married Carl Benjamin Mazzola,
Jr. on January 9, 1971, in Dallas, Texas, and he preceded her in death
on June 9, 2010. She worked at Entex/CenterPointe Energy as a secretary
until her retirement. In addition to her parents and husband, she was
also preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Lyons.
Mrs. Mazzola
is survived by her brother, Scott Vincent Wright and his wife Deborah;
niece, Jennifer Lee Walsh and her husband Sean; and great-nephews,
Garret Bryant and Austin Bryant.
A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19,
2026, at St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church in Carthage with
Father Steve Paradis officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey
Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial
Park Cemetery, 1582 US Hwy 271 S., Gilmer, Texas.
