Annette (Thompson) Jones, age 88, of Denton, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, in Denton. Born in Dallas, Texas, on June 7, 1937, to Hubert Franklin and Lovie Ann (Barnett) Thompson.

On January 16, 1954, she married the love of her life, Alford Fred Jones, in Carrollton, Texas. Together they built a loving home and shared many years of marriage until his passing.

Annette lived a life marked by faith, dedication to family, and a strong work ethic. She completed her education through the 12th grade at R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas and went on to build a successful career as a Color Technician with Taylor Publishing, where she faithfully served for 20 years and was respected for her skill, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence. She later pursued careers in real estate sales and a traveling notary, enjoying the opportunity to help people through important milestones and transactions.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Annette found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast who rarely met a puzzle she could not solve.
