KRISTY
LYNN JOECKEL
1963 - 2016Kristy Lynn Joeckel, 53, passed away on Saturday,
August 20, 2016. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran
Church, 308 W. Park Row Dr. in Arlington with the Rev. Russell
Hildebrandt and Dr. David Joeckel officiating. There will be a reception
at the church immediately following the service. Visitation: 2 to 3
p.m., prior to the service at the church, where she was a member.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to
Huntington's Disease Society of America at hdsa.org. Kristy was born on
April 22, 1963, in Austin to Charles Gayle and Kathryn Anderson Gayle.
She was raised in Farmers Branch and graduated from R.L. Turner High
School. Kristy graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. She was a licensed CPA and member
of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Son, Christian Tobias Joeckel; daughters, Jordan Kathryn
Joeckel and Hannah Marie Joeckel; brothers, Chuck Gayle and Scott Gayle;
sister, Courtney Gayle; and father of her children, Mark Joeckel.

- On August 20th, 2016, Kristy Gayle Joeckel, RLT Class of 1981, died
when she was struck by a car. Kristy will be missed by everyone she knew,
including her three children, Jordan Joeckel 23, Hannah Joeckel 20, and
Chris 17. If you'd like, you can make make a donation to hdsa.org. Kristy
battled Huntington's Disease for many years of her life. Through her death
we can support research to find the cure for this horrible disease for the
