Lee Rose Ringo Emrick
January 1, 1950 - July 28, 2026

Lee Rose Ringo Emrick was born on January 1, 1950, in Dallas, Texas and peacefully passed away on July 28, 2026, in McKinney, Texas.

An ever-loving soul, she never met a stranger, loved to laugh and always had a story to tell. Mother to all and often called Momma Rose, she was actively involved in school and community activities, taking on leadership roles and supporting youth programs. She also volunteered with community organizations and shared her love and creativity. She had an artistic flare with decorating flowers, cakes, painting, photography and drawing. She loved Keller’s and hot rods. An avid collector of cookbooks, she amassed over 1000 various types in her personal library and religiously watched the Cooking Channel.

Professionally, she worked in retail, taught at daycare centers, and later served as a USPS rural route carrier.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Wayne; children, Candeda, Ted (Monica), and Nicole (Brandon); grandkids, Trenton-Shayne, Moriah, Chaynce-Rylee (Adriana), Madison, Abigail, and Jaxon; great grandkids, Brayton-Lee, Mae-Leigh, River Rose and Noah Alexander, and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandson, Kolton Beau, brother, Marcus Jr. (Butch), father, Herman Sr., and grandparents, Robert (Papa) and Rose (Meme).

The family will conduct a private ceremony.

In memoriam donations may be made in her honor to one of her three favorite charities: Children’s Hospital, ASPCA, One Tree Planted.
