1950 The Roar Carrollton High School Carrollton, Dallas Co., Texas Senior Class   OBITUARY Dorce Bench February 16, 1933 - March 30, 2023 Dorce Bench was born February 16, 1933 in Lockesburg, AR to Clyde Arthur Combs and Florence (Kirkpatrick) Combs. She grew up in the Dallas area and married William Jackson Bench in Durant, OK in 1956. They had two children, a daughter and a son. Until she retired, Dorce worked at The Triumph Group. Dorce enjoyed spending time reading, but mostly filled her time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson Bench; her son, David Wayne Bench, sisters Betty Jean Laswell and Vyneta Louise Allen, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Lynn Foster and husband Don of Duncanville, Texas; a brother, Ed Combs of Galveston, TX; two sisters, Frances Hunt and husband Ed of Van Alstyne, Texas, Pam Bradley and husband Todd of Spring Hill, Tennessee; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Dorce was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.
